Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Lovfit USA LLC, a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States ("Lovfit", "we", "us"). They cover your use of The Connect Journal, our guided journaling application and website. By creating an account or starting a membership, you accept them.

Who can use the journal

You must be 18 or older, and you agree to give accurate information when you sign up. The membership is personal: it is for you, not for sharing an account with others.

What the membership includes

An active membership gives you access to the full journal: fifty-two weekly themes, daily morning and evening prompts, the LISTEN pages, the reconnection practices, and your own archive of pages, including entries from previous years. We may add, change or retire content over time. We will not remove your own writing.

Free trial, prices and renewal

• The membership begins with a seven-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start it.
• Nothing is charged during the trial. At the end of the seventh day, the plan you chose begins: $6.99 USD per month, or $59 USD per year.
• The membership renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel.
• We send an email reminder two days before the first charge.
• Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes that may apply where you live.
• If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it affects you, and you may cancel before it does.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account, without writing to us and without giving a reason. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged. Cancelling afterwards stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See our refund policy.

What you write belongs to you

Your entries are yours. You keep every right to them. You give us only the narrowly technical permission needed to store your pages and show them back to you on your devices. We do not read them, publish them, sell them, or use them to train machine learning models. You can export everything you have written at any time, including after you cancel.

What belongs to us

The prompts, the weekly themes, the reconnection practices, the texts, the design, the Lovfit name and the heart symbol are the property of Lovfit USA LLC. You may use them for your own personal practice. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute them, or use them to build a competing product.

What this journal is not

The Connect Journal is a self-reflection practice. It is not therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment, and it does not replace any of them. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or, in an emergency, to your local emergency services.

Availability

We work to keep the journal available and your pages safe, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. We recommend exporting your pages from time to time.

Ending an account

You may close your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, attempts to damage the service, or is used fraudulently. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your period.

Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes to these terms

If we change them in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the journal after that means you accept the new version.
