Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Lovfit USA LLC collects, why, and what we will never do. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

We collect the little we need to give you an account and charge a membership. Your journal entries are yours: we do not read them, sell them, or train anything on them.

What we collect

• Your account: email address and password, so you can reach your pages from more than one device.
• Your pages: what you write in the journal, stored so it is there when you come back.
• Your membership: plan, status and renewal date.
• Basic technical data: the kind of device and browser you use, and errors the app runs into, so we can fix them.

What we never see

Your card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us, and are never stored on our servers.

Why we use it

To give you access to the journal, to keep your pages safe and synced, to charge the membership you chose, to send the emails that concern your account — the trial reminder, receipts, a failed payment — and to fix problems. Nothing else.

Who else is involved

• Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
• Our hosting and database provider — storing the site and your pages.
• Our email provider — sending account emails.

Each of them only receives what they need to do that job. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, for any purpose, ever.

How long we keep it

Your pages stay while your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your entries and your personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Export is built into the app; for anything else, write to hello.lovfit@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it, and we do not sell personal information.

Children

The journal is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Where your data lives

On servers in the United States. If you write to us from elsewhere, your information travels there.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email you before it takes effect.
